In 1957, the Willcox Garden Club furnished the Ramada for a roadside park north of Willcox on Highway 80.  After the freeway went around Willcox in 1969, the Ramada was not used much anymore, so in 1979 the Willcox Garden Club donated the Ramada to the city for Railroad Park.
